Mahmood graduated from the Turner Victoria Dental School of Manchester in 2003, with honours in Medicine & Surgery and Immunology. After the completion of his first year at a prestigious Implant and Cosmetic practice in London, Mahmood then took the bold step of moving completely into the private sector.
Since graduating, Mahmood has dedicated his time to furthering his skills in advanced dentistry. He has attended many lectures around the world and completed numerous courses throughout the UK focusing in the fields of aesthetics and complex mouth rehabilitation.
He has also developed his knowledge and skills by working alongside some of the finest clinicians within the UK and Europe.
He is one of the youngest dentists in the world to have obtained a fellowship within the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantologists, based in the USA.
Mahmood also holds an honorary post within the maxillofacial surgery department of Stoke Mandeville Hospital based in Aylesbury. This has allowed him to gain invaluable surgical experience in all aspects of oral surgery.
His dedication and interest in the growing field of Dental Implantology has gained him a place teaching and mentoring other dentists on an extensive implant course based in Harley Street.
Mahmood currently holds membership of the following bodies:
- General Dental Council.
- British Dental Association.
- British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.
- Faculty of General Dental Practice.
- Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
- Association of Dental Implantology.
Outside of dentistry Mahmood is married with two young children, and teaches at a local youth club. He enjoys travel and is also a keen sportsman, playing football, squash and badminton, cycling and running, and as if that wasn't enough has just recently taken up golf.
