Dr Tooth is our resident dentist who loves educating and caring for young children.
He knows the best way to look after your child is by creating a fun environment to ensure their memories of visiting the dentist are always pleasant and educational.
Most importantly, however, he knows that ensuring good oral hygiene taught as a life skill from a young age, and reinforced throughout childhood will have an impact on a person’s whole life. Joining the Dr Tooth Club means that his team can:
- remove all fear from children of visiting the dentist
- educate parents and children to understand oral health care
- teach children how to prevent tooth decay and gum disease
Therefore, Dr Tooth invites you and your family to a healthy dental future.
A Healthy Dental Future - The Importance of Oral Hygiene
Extensive research now shows that the streptococcus mutans bacteria that causes tooth decay and gum disease can also increase the risk of a heart attack, cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, premature birth and even miscarriage.
Streptococcus Mutans Bacteria
Therefore, the importance of oral hygiene in our children should be our top priority from birth. We believe that joining the Dr Tooth Club is the one of the most important ways you can help your child to achieve this goal - so they can learn how to keep their teeth healthy throughout their life and benefit long term from better general health.
